AAIC Neuroscience Next 2026: Hub Application |
AAIC Neuroscience Next is a free-to-attend conference that is focused on supporting students, postdoctoral and clinical fellows and early career researchers.
AAIC Neuroscience Next will take place concurrently from a series of Hubs between February 23-26, 2026, with each Hub hosting:
- A plenary presentation on “The Future of…”, delivered by an external invited speaker.
- A lightning presentation round delivered by local early-career researchers (ECRs) selected from abstracts submitted to AAIC Neuroscience Next.
- Additional programming to support ECRs.
Each hub is organized by two Hub leads: one mid/senior-career researcher and one early-career researcher/PhD student. Both hub leads will share the responsibility to organize all in-person logistics including audio visual (AV) for the event, additional programming (e.g., a poster reception, career talks), registration, catering, etc.
Up to six hubs will be selected as AAIC Neuroscience Next 2026’s hybrid hubs, with the plenary presentation and lightning presentation round broadcast live to a global audience. Additional hubs may be accepted with in-person programming only, following the same structure.
To apply, please complete all required fields (*) on the form below. If approved, the Hub leads will manage the organization, planning and promotion of their individual event. The Alzheimer’s Association will organize regular meetings and provide a toolkit with resources to help guide the process.
The deadline for this application is May 31, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time USA
The impact of becoming a Hub is featured on this promotional material.
