AAIC Neuroscience Next 2027: Hub Application

AAIC Neuroscience Next is a free-to-attend conference that is focused on supporting students, postdoctoral and clinical fellows and early career individuals.

AAIC Neuroscience Next will take place concurrently from a series of Hubs between February 15-19, 2027, with each Hub hosting:
  • A "Welcome to the Region" describing the landscape of local research.
  • A plenary presentation delivered by an expert external invited speaker.
  • A lightning presentation round delivered by local early-career researchers and clinicians selected from abstracts submitted to AAIC Neuroscience Next.
  • Additional programming to support early-career researchers and clinicians.
See example sessions from the Neuroscience Next 2026 Hubs here: https://istaart.alz.org/videos/category/14

Each hub is organized by two Hub leads: one mid/senior-career individual and one early-career individual/PhD student.
Both hub leads will share the responsibility to organize all in-person logistics including audio visual (AV) for the event, additional programming (e.g., a poster reception, career talks), registration, catering, etc.

Up to six hubs will be selected
as AAIC Neuroscience Next 2027’s hybrid hubs, with the plenary presentation and lightning presentation round broadcast live to a global audience.
To apply, please complete all required fields (*) on the form below. If approved, the Hub leads will manage the organization, planning and promotion of their individual event. The Alzheimer’s Association will organize regular meetings and provide a toolkit with resources to help guide the process.

The deadline for this application is May 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time USA

The impact of becoming a Hub is featured in this promotional material.
